This is a revised edition of the listening comprehension material The News in Japanese - Listening Comprehension 50, a book to help you listen to the news in Japanese.

While maintaining the concept of “cultivating the ability to grasp points by learning the structure and characteristic expressions of news”, the news in all 50 sections has been revised to match current-day Japan.

In addition, the audio (“News” and “Important vocabulary and example sentences that often appear in news”) can now be heard on 3A Corporation’s website. In this revised edition, audio for the example sentences, which was not included in the first edition, has also been added, making it easier to learn important vocabulary.
